OPEN POSITION:

Optometrist

SCHEDULE:

- Full-Time

- 40 Hours per Week

- No Evenings

- No Holidays

- No On-Call

- Occasional Saturdays w/ Flex Time Off

COMPENSATION:

- $140,000 to $170,000+ Base Salary, negotiable dependent upon experience

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The new optometrist will work in a collaborative, dynamic environment with an integrated, multi-disciplinary care team.

Providers are supported by highly-trained clinical assistants and on-site management in a comfortable, modern outpatient setting.

Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

- provide complete, comprehensive eye exams for patients

- diagnose and treat conditions of the eye

- provide coordination of care services as needed

- deliver preventative and healthcare maintenance to patients

- work collaboratively with other providers

Providers see a variable (and always manageable) number of patients per day, based upon patient needs and types of appointments scheduled.

The office uses the AthenaHealth EHR.

REQUIREMENTS:

- active OD credentials

- New York optometrist license

- 1+ year practice experience

- contact lens fitting experience
