Responsibilities:

• Assist optometrists during eye examinations and procedures.
• Perform preliminary tests, including visual acuity and tonometry.
• Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation.
• Educate patients on lens options, eyewear care, and eye health.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipment.
• Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries with professionalism.
• Support inventory management and ordering of optical supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the clinic.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in optometry preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience as an optometric technician or in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of optical terminology and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
