Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient-outpatient dialysis nursing care to ESRD patients during hemodialysis treatments
- Monitor patient condition, vital signs, fluid balance, and anticoagulation per policy; respond to changes and manage intradialytic complications
- Set up and monitor dialysis equipment, ensure proper water treatment and safety protocols; document treatment parameters and outcomes
- Administer prescribed medications, coordinate with nephrology and multidisciplinary team, and maintain accurate electronic documentation in EPIC
- Assess patients before, during, and after dialysis; educate patients on treatment plans, vascular access care, and post-treatment instructions
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards; participate in shift handoffs and quality improvement activities
- May float to other units within the service area as needed and per policy; maintain reliable transportation and scheduling flexibility

Requirements
- Current active RN license on file at time of submission
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience; minimum 1 year of outpatient dialysis experience
- EPIC electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years (non‑negotiable)
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital-based outpatient dialysis setting; flexibility to cover 8-, 9-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts as needed; availability to start within the next week
- Reliable transportation is required; local transportation options not guaranteed
