Position Summary We are seeking an experienced RN to join our Inpatient Psychiatry Unit in Boston, a 16-bed secure inpatient unit. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced RN to join our Inpatient Psychiatry Unit in Boston, a 16-bed secure inpatient unit. Key Responsibilities Providing nursing care to patients and families in our inpatient psychiatric unit Maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu. Providing education to patients and families. Facilitating group therapies. Overseeing behavioral health specialist staff. 32 or 36 hours, variety of shifts including: 1) day/evening rotating, occasional overnights, every other weekend. 2) nights and every other weekend, 3( day/night rotating and every other weekend. And all positions include rotating holidays. Education Minimum Qualifications A bachelor\'s degree in nursing Experience 1+ years of RN experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting. Inpatient and pediatric experience preferred. Licensure/Certifications Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN) The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
