Adecco is currently hiring Machine Operators in Agawam, MA! We are hiring for both 1st and 2nd shifts. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Location: Agawam, MAPay: $21.00–$23.10 per hour1st Shift: $21.00/hour | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM2nd Shift: $23.10/hour | Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PMResponsibilities· Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment, including cold heading, roll threading, and pointing machines.· Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.· Select, install, and adjust machine tooling to meet production requirements.· Inspect finished products using measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.· Perform routine machine maintenance, lubrication, and preventative inspections.· Adjust machine settings, speeds, and feed rates as necessary.· Assist with packaging, stacking, and transporting finished products.· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.· Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality goals.Qualifications· High school diploma or GED required.· Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.· Experience with cold heading, threading, or pointing equipment is a plus.· Ability to read blueprints and understand manufacturing specifications.· Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.· Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.· Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn.Physical Requirements· Ability to stand for extended periods.· Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.· Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with elevated noise levels.· Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive tasks as needed.· Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.** If interested, please apply directly to this job posting!!**Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.10 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
