OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Staten Island, NY by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Drive for HMD Trucking from Staten Island, NY, on nationwide dry van lanes using modern, under-three-year tractors equipped with sleepers, APUs and inverters. In-house maintenance keeps equipment reliable so drivers can focus on the run.

What you'll do:

• Transport dry van freight safely on scheduled regional and OTR trips.
• Conduct pre/post-trip checks and maintain accurate logs.
• Collaborate with dispatch to plan routes and delivery windows.

Requirements & compensation highlights:

• Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months of driving experience required.
• Start pay at 65¢/mile, weekly averages near 2,500 miles, plus bonuses, full benefits and home every two weeks.
