Fork Lift Operator - Set-ups - Second Shift

Set-Ups EmployeeNewly Weds Foods provides premium ingredients and food coatings to some of the biggest brand names in the country. We are looking for a set-ups employee in our blending department. Set-ups pulls together the ingredients for batches using an electric sit-down fork lift. This position also requires some degree of computer and scanner knowledge as well as attention to detail.Essential Functions:Consistently select correct ingredients and provide accurate amounts of bulk ingredients per batch requirements.Provide accurate weights of partial ingredients per batch requirements.Stage ingredients on pallets for blending.Follow established Allergen Control Program Procedures as it applies to shipping, receiving and warehousingMust be able lift up to 75 pounds continuouslyMust maintain integrity of raw materialsMust assist in inventory and cycle countsMust follow good manufacturing practices, and be responsible for sanitation of assigned area.Must follow all Safety RulesCooperates in maintaining a safe and respectful work environmentQualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience within a food manufacturing environment.Ability to comfortably operate standard warehouse equipment, including proficient operation of standup forklift and load move system.Work Environment:The job is performed in the warehouse and production areas where the person will be exposed to strong aromas, airborne dust particles emanating from ingredients being used, and will be in the presence of or otherwise operating machinery.
