Golf Shop Retail Sales Agent (Full Time)

Retail Sales Associate The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for greeting guests in the retail shops, presenting merchandise, and facilitating sales transactions. Responsibilities Stock shelves, counters, tables, and similar display fixtures to maximize product visibility and promote sales. Arrange signage and advertising collateral attractively. Sell merchandise to guests. Maintain shop cleanliness, proper displays, and ensure all items are properly tagged and inventory controlled. Affix accurate prices to merchandise using stamps, tags, labels, or similar methods. Provide suggestions, information, and assistance to customers as requested, while maintaining substantial knowledge of products in the assigned store and general product knowledge of other retail outlets on property. Accurately record sales and other transactions using the point‑of‑sale system, accept payment, and make change following established accounting procedures. Continuously clean shelves, counters, tables, fixtures, glass, and floors. Adhere to safety precautions and procedures to ensure a safe atmosphere for guests and employee partners. Complete daily sales reports for analysis. Be aware of current monthly sales performance and increase sales per hour and units per transaction as required. Participate in periodic merchandise inventory as scheduled. Adhere to cash handling policies. Qualifications Strong guest service skills. Effective verbal and written communication. Flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for the entirety of the shift.
