Senior Electrical Engineer - EE
LRS Federal
Job Description
Job Description
Are you ready to put your Electrical engineering expertise to work on projects that matter? LRS Federal LLC is seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. If you thrive on tackling complex challenges, delivering innovative solutions, and have a passion for improving federal facilities, we want to meet you.
About Us
LRS Federal is redefining facility lifecycle services for the federal sector. Our reputation is built on understanding our clients’ biggest challenges and delivering smart, efficient, and economic solutions that stand the test of time. We provide comprehensive planning, design, and construction phase services for some of the nation’s most critical federal infrastructure.
The Opportunity
As a Electrical Engineer at LRS Federal, you’ll play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of federal facility projects that impact communities and support national missions. This is not your average design job—here, your work will shape outcomes for clients whose standards and expectations are among the highest in the industry.
What You’ll Do
- Provide advanced Electrical engineering design services for a range of federal facility projects
- Lead and coordinate design-build projects, working closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams
- Develop and review technical drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Ensure all designs meet rigorous federal standards, codes, and client requirements
- Drive innovation and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle
- Mentor junior staff and support project management as needed
What We’re Looking For
- At least 10 years of Electrical engineering experience with substantial exposure to federal projects
- Demonstrated success leading design-build projects (this is a must)
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is a strong plus, but not required
- Deep understanding of federal standards, codes, and project delivery methods
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams
- Driven, resourceful, and passionate about delivering the best outcomes for clients
Why Join LRS Federal?
- Be part of a company that values your expertise and gives you a voice at the table
- Work on meaningful projects that directly support national priorities
- Collaborate with a team of experts who are just as dedicated and driven as you are
- Enjoy competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and opportunities for career growth
- Flexible work arrangements and a culture that respects your life outside of work
Ready to take your career to the next level and make a real impact? Submit your resume and cover letter today.
