Mechanical Project Engineer

To support construction projects, the full-time Mechanical Project Engineer will design, analyze, and oversee the implementation of mechanical systems, focusing on HVAC and plumbing, with opportunities for remote or hybrid work based in the Kansas City area. Key responsibilities Design and analyze mechanical systems for construction projects to meet technical requirements and industry standards Oversee the implementation of HVAC and plumbing systems, ensuring successful project delivery and client satisfaction Utilize CAD software and engineering analysis tools to develop innovative solutions for mechanical system design Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or significant mechanical design experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and HVAC load calculation software (e.g., TRACE 700) Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) Strong understanding of mechanical system design principles, codes, and standards
