Senior Project Manager - Digital Integration (ERP / SAP S4HANA)

Overview

Our client is a large, enterprise-scale organization operating a complex, distributed technology environment that supports national operations across multiple business units. They are currently undergoing a major ERP transformation centered around SAP S/4HANA and are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead critical digital integration efforts across their application ecosystem.

Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with a strong digital integration mindset to oversee multiple workstreams connecting enterprise applications into a new SAP S/4HANA environment. This role will focus on coordinating integration efforts across boundary applications, host systems, and digital platforms, while partnering closely with a third-party system integrator and internal product teams.

This is not an SAP implementation role -the focus is on orchestrating integrations , managing stakeholders, and ensuring alignment across digital products and ERP.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage integration-focused workstreams across ~10 applications tied to SAP S/4HANA
• Coordinate execution across 7 planned sprints (4 weeks each) , ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal digital/product teams and the system integrator
• Drive alignment across stakeholders including product owners, engineering teams, and business leaders
• Manage dependencies between digital platforms, finance systems, host systems, and boundary applications
• Represent digital team interests and ensure proper engagement across key functional areas (e.g., customer, Salesforce, etc.)
• Facilitate frequent cross-functional meetings, track progress, and proactively resolve risks and blockers
• Maintain strong visibility into workstream status, deliverables, and integration readiness

Required Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of Project/Program Management experience in enterprise environments
• Proven experience managing digital integration initiatives , ideally involving ERP systems
• Experience working alongside third-party system integrators
• Strong understanding of application ecosystems and digital architectures (APIs, integrations, data flows)
• Ability to engage in technical conversations without being hands-on (no coding required)
• Experience coordinating across multiple product teams and stakeholders simultaneously
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP platforms
• Background in integrating digital applications, customer platforms, or finance systems into a new ERP
• Experience operating in Agile environments with sprint-based delivery models
• Familiarity with large-scale enterprise transformations or ERP modernization efforts
