What You'll Do

• Provide in-house OB hospitalist coverage with a team of 2 OB Hospitalists 24/7
• Attend deliveries (practice attends about 60 deliveries per month)
• Manage OB triage, patient evaluation, and ongoing patient management
• Provide surgical assists as needed
• Perform fetal monitoring and support labor management
• Provide ER coverage related to OB needs
• Collaborate with MFM (Maternal-Fetal Medicine) and support care for high-risk patients

What You Need Required

• Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN
• Ability to provide in-house 24-hour shift coverage
• Must be willing to reside within the immediate local area (residency required); relocation may be required

Preferred

• Experience working in or supporting high-acuity OB care (including triage and inpatient management)
• Comfort coordinating care with MFM and inpatient teams

About the Assignment Work at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, Californiaa 387-bed tertiary acute care facility and Level I Trauma Center for the Coachella Valley. The OB service supports approximately 60 deliveries per month and includes a Level-III NICU/newborn program. You'll also have teaching opportunities with fellows, residents, and medical students, along with affiliated MFM and neonatology practice support.
