RESIDENTIAL MANAGER – Group Home for Developmentally Disabled Adults Babylon, LI Starting salary: $68,000/yr. By joining our team, you will share in the joy of providing “care with dignity and life with hope.” Position Description: For the position of Residential Manager, we are looking for a dedicated, talented individual who has a passion for helping our developmentally disabled adults to achieve their goals and live a full life. Current open position is located in our Babylon, LI group home. Major responsibilities include: Ensure quality of resident care is provided, 24 hrs./day, 7 days/week; Develop and implement Individualized Service Plans; Manage staff scheduling, training, performance management and regulatory compliance; Overseeing optimal household maintenance and adherence to budgets. Our ideal candidate will have: BA/BS plus 2 years’ or HSD/GED plus 3-5 years’ management or staff supervisory experience in a group home for developmentally disabled adults Qualifications include: Clean, valid NYS Driver’s License Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule according to resident care needs Ability to perform tasks that may require stooping, crouching, and 2-person lifting up to 250 pounds. Ability to maintain personal safety and respond appropriately in a calm, non-confrontational manner during an individual's physical or emotional outburst. Salary: $68,000/yr. Core Work Schedule: 40 hrs./wk. (9a-5p, Tues. - Sat. - Must be flexible) 24/7 On Call Availability required This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location.
