As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Systems in Winston-Salem, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading healthcare education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms. You will provide outstanding customer service and communication while using computer or tablet systems. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, students, faculty, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of educational and health care facilities, parking areas, building perimeters, and surrounding grounds to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate reports and maintain communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
