Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Restaurant General Manager to oversee all aspects of operations for a premier private dining and hospitality venue. This leadership role is responsible for delivering an exceptional member and guest experience while managing daily restaurant operations, financial performance, team development, and event execution. The ideal candidate is a hands-on hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and experience in upscale dining, private clubs, or event-driven restaurant environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct all front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure exceptional service, food quality, and operational excellence.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop management and hourly team members while fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
• Oversee daily service, private events, banquets, and special functions to ensure seamless execution and guest satisfaction.
• Manage restaurant financial performance, including P&L, budgeting, labor, food and beverage costs, and inventory control.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with members, guests, vendors, and community partners.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health department standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to execute seasonal menus, promotions, and special dining experiences.
• Monitor service standards, resolve guest concerns promptly, and continuously improve the overall dining experience.
• Maintain facility appearance, equipment, and operational readiness while supporting preventative maintenance initiatives.
• Partner with ownership and senior leadership to achieve business goals and implement operational improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of restaurant or hospitality management experience, including experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
• Experience in private clubs, upscale dining, banquet operations, country clubs, or event-driven hospitality is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant financials, including P&L management, labor forecasting, inventory, and cost controls.
• Proven ability to develop, motivate, and retain high-performing teams.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and guest service skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
