Medical Assistant (MA)

Job Position: Pediatric Medical Assistant (MA)
Location: Detroit, MI 48210 Pay Rate: $21.00/hr Shift:Monday 9:30 am - 6:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. 1/2 hour unpaid lunch.Dress Code: Solid color scrubs and comfortable closed toe shoes.
Responsibilities
Room patients, obtain medical history and vital signs, enter in EMR
Administer medications, injections, immunizations/vaccines. Blood draws on occasion
EKG's, Urinalysis, PFT and specimen collection
Assist provider with procedures Qualifications
Experience in Pediatrics a must
MA diploma or state certification
BLS through the American Heart Association or willing to obtain
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an MA
Reliable, consistent, dependable attendance
