Product Development SpecialistGRITR – North Richland Hills, TX Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (8-hour shifts with flexible scheduling) This role is hands-on and in-person, with no remote work options. We develop and launch innovative products across multiple categories, working directly with overseas manufacturers and internal teams to bring ideas to market.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Product Development Specialist with a strong product design focus to help turn ideas into clear visual concepts and production-ready plans.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both creative product design and structured project coordination. You will help translate ideas into sketches, CAD models, tech packs, and prototypes that move efficiently into manufacturing.Candidates are not required to have every technical skill listed, but experience in several areas such as CAD, 3D modeling, rendering, or prototyping is highly beneficial.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Design & VisualizationTranslate concepts into sketches, CAD models, and technical drawingsCreate visual renderings or mockups to support decision-makingDevelop detailed tech packs, specs, and BOMs for productionPrepare files and documentation for overseas manufacturersAssist with packaging concepts and product presentation visualsProduct Development ExecutionSupport product development from concept through productionCoordinate with overseas factories on revisions, samples, and approvalsRefine designs for manufacturability (DFM) and cost efficiencyTrack revisions and maintain organized documentationPrototyping & InnovationUtilize 3D printing for rapid prototyping (if experienced)Test and iterate designs based on feedbackImprove internal development workflowsQualificationsCore ExperienceBackground in product design, industrial design, or product developmentExperience creating CAD files and technical drawingsStrong ability to turn ideas into clear visual and technical plansExperience working with manufacturers (overseas experience preferred)Organized and detail-oriented with strong communication skillsBeneficial Skills (Not Required)SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, or similar CAD software3D rendering or animation software3D printing and rapid prototypingAdobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)Knowledge of materials, tooling, and manufacturing processesExperience in consumer goods, outdoor, or tactical productsWhat We OfferDirect involvement in launching new private label productsHands-on innovation with prototyping toolsGrowth within a scaling product development teamHow to ApplyPlease submit your resume and a portfolio showcasing product design work, CAD models, renderings, or technical documentation.
