Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator with expertise in operating equipment such as press brakes, tube benders, and extrusion machines. The role involves setting up and operating sheet metal brake presses, tube bending machines, and laser operators. You will be responsible for forming various parts by following part prints and using different measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Set up and form various metal components of different sizes and types.
• Understand and utilize different tooling configurations with limited guidance.

Essential Skills

• Machine operation experience, including tube bending, laser operation, brake press, and extrusion operation.
• Proficiency in using power tools, brake machines, tube benders, pipe bending equipment, and laser cutters.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in panel wiring, electrical assembly, or a related field.
• Knowledge of pressure testing procedures, leak detection methods, and chiller systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices for electrical work.
• Knowledge of electrical codes, wiring standards, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and efficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLC wiring and troubleshooting preferred, but not required.

Work Environment

This role is based in a large plant environment that is non-temperature controlled. Employees are expected to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds (non-repetitive), and stoop.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monroe, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.23 - $25.73/hr.
