Registered Nurse – ICU Neuro

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00–07:30 | Every other weekend required; some holidays required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a Neuro specialty focus
• Work with both ICU and IMC patient populations as needed
• Float to other units as required based on staffing needs
• Accurately monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry and cardiac rhythms
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the submitted specialty
• ICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a Telemetry exam prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher with 100% identification of lethal rhythms; maximum of three attempts)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neurosurgery experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or IMC environment
