As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those in your care, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and supported during the night. Key Responsibilities
- Companionship: Engage clients in conversation and provide emotional support.
- Activities Assistance: Help clients with mobility, transfers, and daily activities.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals tailored to client needs.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming as needed.
- Transportation: Occasionally provide errands or shopping assistance.
Note: Some clients may require additional support, including the use of Hoyer lifts and specialized dementia care.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- A valid driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Willingness to work one-on-one, unsupervised in a client's home.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Must reside in Dakota, Scott, Rice, Carver, or Le Sueur County.
Schedule
- AWAKE Overnight shifts: 10 PM - 8 AM.
- Flexible scheduling options: 3-5 days per week, Monday through Sunday.
