This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a foundation in accounting principles, specifically Accounts Payable. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. This role demands excellent organizational skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to contribute to month-end closing procedures. Responsibilities: Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and approvals. Maintain and reconcile accounts payable records, including vendor statements and payment history. Prepare and process payments via various methods, adhering to established payment schedules. Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, working closely with vendors and internal departments. Assist with month-end closing activities. Perform data entry of invoices and other financial documents into the accounting system. Provide support for internal and external audits, including gathering and organizing documentation. Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment inquiries and issues. Minimum Qualifications: General knowledge of Accounts Payable principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
