Quick Facts: Location: Macon, GA (888 Pine Street, Zip 31201) Start Date: 04/28/2026 Duration: Permanent position Shift: Variable shifts including 10-hour days (Monday-Thursday), 8-hour weekend shifts, and 16-hour nights (4 days/week) with no call Hours/week: 40+ Employment Type: Full-Time License/Certs: Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Experience: Minimum 2+ years as NNP (excluding RN experience) Pay Rate: $1.00/hour Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability plans, 401(k) with match, paid sick leave, licensure and travel reimbursements, referral bonuses, and more What You’ll Do: Provide specialized neonatal care in a Level-III NICU setting Manage critically ill newborns with complex conditions including high-frequency ventilation and nitric oxide therapy Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Assist in procedures and clinical supports specific to neonatal intensive care Educate and support families of infants in neonatal unit Contribute to clinical appointments and teaching at Mercer Medical School Ensure compliance with care standards and documentation requirements What You Need: Current, active Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) certification (no FNP or other NP certifications accepted) Minimum 2+ years of Neonatal NP experience (excluding RN experience) Strong clinical skills in neonatal intensive care Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team About the Assignment: Join a top-tier hospital known for its dedication to nursing excellence and outstanding neonatal care.
