Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Ideal Qualifications & Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with school-based experience preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of pediatric physical therapy, especially for preschool and early elementary populations
• Flexibility and adaptability to work PRN/as-needed in a contract capacity
• Collaborative mindset for working with teachers, staff, and families within a small district
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Reliable transportation to travel to schools as necessary

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and provide direct therapy services primarily to preschool-aged children, with some sessions for primary grade students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
• Consult and collaborate with teachers and educational staff to support student participation in classroom activities
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress documentation
• Adapt interventions creatively to address a variety of abilities and environments
• Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment as appropriate
