Travel RN - Med/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical night shift travel position requiring at least 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience and a TN or compact RN license. Requirements Active RN license — must be a Tennessee (TN) state license or a Compact (NLC) license; no pending licensure accepted Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required; 3+ years preferred Level I or Level II trauma experience required Large hospital experience preferred ADN or higher required for this position Driver's license required for consideration At least one completed prior travel assignment required — first-time travelers are not eligible Responsibilities Work in a Medical/Surgical unit within a large hospital setting Patient ratio is 1:12 under a team nursing model, supported by PCCs, LPNs, a medication nurse, and additional RNs Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00) On-call required as needed Weekend shifts required as needed; weekend block scheduling may be considered and must be discussed during the interview Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles may occur, though cross-campus floating is rare Cerner EMR experience preferred 13-week contract Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall within the assignment, candidates must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be covered All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration and will not be approved if added afterward Vaccination status must be provided Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr
