Role Description The Pediatric Neurologist will provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient neurological care to children with a wide range of conditions, including epilepsy, developmental disorders, neuromuscular disease, and headache. Responsibilities include performing detailed neurologic evaluations, interpreting diagnostic tests such as EEGs, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and coordinating care with primary care clinicians, subspecialists, and allied health professionals. The role also involves participation in multidisciplinary case conferences, contribution to quality improvement initiatives, and engagement in teaching activities with residents, fellows, medical students, or other learners. The Pediatric Neurologist will maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record and support patient and family education to promote understanding of diagnoses and therapies. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Danville, PA, with a mix of on-site clinical responsibilities and some work-from-home activities, such as telehealth visits, follow-up consultations, and administrative tasks. Qualifications Strong clinical expertise in Pediatric Neurology, with the ability to diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of pediatric neurologic conditions. Board eligibility or certification in Neurology with special qualification in Child Neurology, and solid foundational training in Medicine. Focused skills in Epilepsy care, including evaluation and management of seizure disorders and familiarity with advanced treatment options. Proficiency in EEG interpretation and use of neurodiagnostic tools to guide clinical decision-making. Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of an ACGME-accredited pediatric neurology residency and, if applicable, fellowship training. Current or eligible unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania and eligibility for hospital credentialing.
