Job Description:

Provides support for implementation troubleshooting and maintenance Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations monitoring and problem resolu t ion for all of the client/server/storage/network devices mobile devices etc. Provides Tie r-I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation)- problem identification diagnosis and resolution. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Configures and manages Virtual and storage environments; Linux UNIX and Wind o ws operating systems; install/loads operating system software trouble s hoots maintains integrity; and configures v irtual storage and network compon e nts along with implementing o p e rating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance. The System/Network Administrator supports the IT requirements of users in the headquarters building and in the enterprise. Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism in support of Field organization users while being willing to learn also be willing to be flexible and be able to manage multiple priorities . The successful candidate will work within a small less than 10 people supporting the customers Service Desk to manage IT systems infrastructure and any process related to these systems.

Responsibilities Include:

On site support from 0800-1600 Monday through Friday

Provide support for Implementation troubleshooting and maintenance for IT systems

Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification diagnosis and resolution of problems

Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems

Unlock user accounts reset passwords assist with PKI import/renewal perform file transfers create accounts perform data transfer agent responsibilities resolve VPN account issues provide accesses.

Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices mobile devices etc.

Develop and update documentation for SOPs and troubleshooting procedures.

Provides Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification diagnosis and resolution

Perform System Troubleshooting & Updates : Identify and resolve system issues apply configuration changes and install necessary patches for applications and operating systems.

Optimize System Performance : Conduct resource utilization assessments improve operational efficiency and plan for system capacity expansion.

Manage the daily activities of configuration and operations of IT systems

Contribute to technical contract deliverables like weekly/monthly reports etc.

Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers

Use a ticketing system document repository and customer tools and applications.

Basic Qualifications

No demonstrated experience is required. Bachelors degree in technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Clearance must have TS/SCI with Polygraph. Five years may be substituted for a bachelors degree.

Candidate shall currently possess and maintain one of the following certifications:

• Updated COMP TIA Security Plus
• Microsoft Technology Associate-IT Infrastructure (MTA-IT) or;
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Desktop (MCSA-DT) Windows 7 or;
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Desktop (MCSA-DT) Windows 8 or;
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional Windows Client (MCITP-Client) Desktop Support Tech on Windows 7 or;
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional Windows Client (MCITP-Client) Desktop Admin on Windows 7
• Computer Technology Industry Association. A (A) or;
• Computer Technology Industry Association - Network (Network) or;
• Computer Technology Industry Association - Storage (Storage ) or;

Pay Range:

Pay Range $50700.00 - $91650.00
