We have our HQs based in the NYC area and are continuing to grow on a nationwide level.Position OverviewWe are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Tax Manager to join our team. The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance, planning, and preparation for a diverse portfolio of clients, including individuals and various business entities in the real estate sector. This position plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely tax filings while providing strategic tax planning advice to clients.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns for individuals, fiduciaries, corporations, and partnerships.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including multi-state considerations.Conduct tax research and provide guidance on tax planning strategies to optimize clients' tax positions.Review and approve tax returns and supporting documentation prepared by staff.Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and understand their financial situations and tax needs.Utilize tax software, including CCH Axcess and Checkpoint, to facilitate tax preparation and research processes.Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may affect clients and the firm.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Active CPA license is required.Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably in real estate.Strong knowledge of tax compliance, planning, and preparation for individuals and various business entities.Experience with multi-state taxation and compliance is highly desirable.Proficiency in tax software such as CCH Axcess, and familiarity with Checkpoint is a plus.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.BenefitsMedicalDentalVision401k w/matchPTOHybrid flexCompany-Paid Life and Long Term Disability Insurance
