Dental Hygienist

Position Overview Grand Cypress Dental Care is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team. Location 90 Cypress Edge Dr, St. Johns, Florida 32259 Schedule Monday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Thursday: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM Friday: 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM Practice Details Three‑doctor practice utilizing Dentrix. 60‑minute recare appointments and 90‑minute new patient appointments. Bi‑weekly hourly pay, with the option to opt into daily pay. Daily and quarterly bonuses available. Arestin, iTero, and Velscope tools are used, and continuing education coverage is available. Minimum Qualifications Active dental hygienist license in Florida Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required) Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation. CPR certification. Preferred Experience Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems. Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and standing. Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year. Completion of a tuberculosis (TB) test required for new hires in dental office positions (aforementioned requirement not applicable in FL & TN). Other Requirements Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the office/doctor/Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation.
