Job Description & Requirements Specialty: EEG Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Polysomnographer in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This travel position involves working nights from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Tuesday through Thursday, in a sleep laboratory setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience, along with certification and licensure. Job Details: Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Current NM license, RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Schedule: Nights, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Tuesday through Thursday, minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: No call required. No floating required. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing patient data, calibrating sleep lab equipment, applying electrodes and sensors, conducting various sleep tests such as MSLT, MWT, and oxygen titration, monitoring data quality, documenting sleep stages and events, and implementing therapeutic interventions as needed. The technician will score sleep stages and clinical events, generate reports, and provide age-specific patient care.
