Overview Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Hanford, California. Start date 09/28/2026 for 12 weeks. Weekly pay range $768-$805 per week, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Key Highlights Weekly pay range: $768-$805 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Contract duration: 12 weeks Schedule: 4x10 days, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM Location: Hanford, CA Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the operating room, supporting perioperative nursing duties Assist with surgical preparation, draping, instrument handling, and maintaining sterile technique Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures; support anesthesia team as needed; document events Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and circulating staff to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow Manage equipment, maintain accurate counts, and ensure proper specimen handling Adhere to infection control policies, safety standards, and perioperative protocols Requirements Active California RN license BLS certification Minimum two years of recent OR experience Ability to work a 4x10 schedule with shifts around 7:00 AM–5:30 PM Licensure must be active for state of assignment (California) Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours: 40 per week 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Extension opportunities beyond the initial contract term Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
