Transportation Supervisor Job Type: Full-time; On-site Responsibilities Recruit and train all drivers. Interact with the full‑service leasing company to ensure proper maintenance of all vehicles. Supervise payroll, truck leasing and fuel budgets. Supervise work performance and results of all drivers. Set effective schedules to operate within budget. Prioritize work effectively. Set high expectations and goals. Take responsibility for achieving performance results. Follow through to completion of work projects. Assure employees follow Company policies and procedures. Supervise and coordinate all company safety procedures. Build effective customer relationships and resolve issues in timely ways. Tremendous growth potential. Experience 2+ years of successful transportation management experience with proven results. Must have a Class A or B CDL and prior supervisory experience. Experience managing people in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive setting. Complete knowledge of DOT requirements. Independent thinker and decision maker that requires minimal supervision.
