Project Coordinator to provide high level administrative support for a wide variety of utility construction projects within our Program Management team. This role is critical to the overall success of our various large scale construction projects Nationwide. The main responsibilities will include calling in and updating 811 dig tickets (locates), permitting, Traffic control requests and route sheets. Roles and Responsibilities Accurate entry of customer information into master spreadsheet Schedules multiple crews daily with department supervisors/superintendents Accurately assesses priorities, including making appropriate customer contacts, optimizing productivity of field employees Updates daily crew schedules with supervisors/superintendents and maintains timely communications with customer project management personnel Assembles and processes job packets, coordinates with permit technician, initiates work order creation, verifies the accuracy and maintains updates for MR's (material requests) for individual projects Schedules locates, locate meets and municipal inspector meetings Maintains organized system of document retention Maintains updated job scheduling and completion records Responds to inquiries from internal departments regarding time reports, billing, unit and Time and Expense questions Maintains a strong work ethic to ensure the required day's work is complete Responsible for timely communication with customers and SPS staff Responsible for the collection and reporting of monthly metrics for the department Accurate data entry and record keeping in Master Spreadsheet from client Success Factors Data entry using the computer/ 10-Key Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy under time constraints Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning employee data Strong interpersonal skills and solid team working abilities Sound work ethics Strong decision making and analytical thinking ability Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products Ability to navigate city municipal portals Experience and Education High school diploma or equivalent desired 3-5 years’ experience as a project coordinator or in a similar position in utility management An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis Texas 811 industry knowledge in oilfield, pipeline and/or distribution gas Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License is required within two weeks of employment. Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
