Part-Time Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Technician Hoodz of the Lowcountry and Coastal Georgia Savannah, Georgia, United States About this position Workinthetradesandwanttoearnextramoneyafewnightsaweek?Ifyou'recomfortableonaroofandgoodwithyourhands,thispart-timerolestartswithpaidtrainingat$20/hrandthenpaysyouashareofeveryjobyoucomplete—onyourschedule.HOODZoftheLowcountry&CoastalGeorgiacleansandmaintainstheexhaustsystemsthatkeepcommercialkitchensfromcatchingfire.Wepreventgreasefiresandprotectthepeopleinrestaurants,hospitals,schools,andhotels. We'rebuildingabenchofpart-timeovernighttechnicians—startingatjust2–3nightsperweek.Thisisagreatfitifyoualreadyworkinroofing,HVAC,firesuppression,painting,pipefitting,oranotherhands-ontradeandwanttoaddsolidsupplementalincomewithoutgivingupyourdayjob.You'llgetpaidtraining,company-providedequipment,andproductionpay.

HOW SCHEDULING WORKS

Youknowyourprimaryjob'sschedule,soyougiveusyouravailablenightstwoweeksinadvance,andwebuildtheschedulearoundyou.Theworkhappensafterthekitchensclose.Becausemostrestaurantsclosearound8pmor9pm,ashiftcanstartasearlyas6pmonsomenightsandlateronothers,withlongerjobsrunningintotheearlymorning.Startandendtimesvarynighttonightdependingonthejob—ashiftisonlyaslongastheworktakes,notafixedblock.Somejobscanalsobecompletedduringtheday.
