Workwear Outfitters is also the exclusive licensee for Dickies apparel in the B2B channel.Our Purpose: “We champion and empower workers who make our world work better.”Major benefits include medical, vision, and dental, Life, and Disability coverage.Other benefits included: 401K, Tuition reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Flexible Spending Accounts, and many others.**What You Will Do as a Distribution Supervisor:*** Responsible for supervising assigned associates in the Distribution Center on the 1st shift to achieve maximum production, quality, and cost control.* Duties include monitoring the flow of production, providing training and counseling, resolving issues, creating production reports, and tracking attendance.* Responsible for ensuring safety standards, quality of work, and company policies are maintained, all while processing assigned orders within the shipping requirements.* Support all internal and external customers by meeting all service requirements and expectations.* Communicate with all levels of personnel and will be trained on several different tasks in the department to fill in where needed.**HOURS:**1st shift: – 6:00 AM –2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.Overtime required as needed.**How You Will Make a Difference:**As a Distribution Supervisor, you will make a difference by bridging the gap between organizational targets and daily operations. You will empower frontline workers, ensure on-time, accurate deliveries, and drive process improvements in safety, productivity, and order quality. You will achieve operational excellence and a positive work environment by focusing on driving operational efficiency and metrics, building a strong people-first culture, and fostering a commitment to Safety.**Skills for Success:*** Communicate job expectations and coach/counsel direct reports.* High School Diploma or equivalent.* Three years’ experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred.* Previous supervisor experience preferred.* Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Excel, and Word).* Strong communication skills (oral, written - fluent in English), strong interpersonal skills, and strong basic math skills.* High attention to detail and quality, and able to flourish in a fast- paced environment.* Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work with others in a positive manner.* Ability to handle multiple tasks, work overtime, and/or weekends if needed.
