Application Support Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Application Support Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Chicago, IL (Remote) . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting Siemens Teamcenter environments, with a strong background in application support, troubleshooting, system optimization, and enterprise PLM solutions

Rate Range: $50/hour to $55/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Application Support Engineer Job Responsibilities Include:

• Provide advanced application support for Siemens Teamcenter environments by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical and functional issues.
• Investigate recurring application problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions that improve system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure Teamcenter solutions align with operational requirements and business objectives.
• Support production environments by monitoring application health, managing incidents, coordinating issue resolution activities, and minimizing business disruption.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance system functionality, user experience, workflow efficiency, and operational stability.
• Mentor and support team members by sharing technical expertise, best practices, troubleshooting methodologies, and knowledge related to Teamcenter applications.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• A minimum of seven to ten years of experience supporting Siemens Teamcenter environments in enterprise application support, PLM, or engineering systems environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter, including configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and support of business-critical applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated experience identifying root causes and resolving complex application issues.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams to deliver sustainable solutions and support enterprise application environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environments within manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, automotive, or industrial organizations.
• Knowledge of application monitoring, incident management, problem management, and service management best practices.
• Experience participating in application enhancements, system upgrades, integrations, testing, and deployment activities.
• Familiarity with enterprise application architectures, database technologies, and system interoperability concepts.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
