Providers choose CMC for flexibility, predictable scheduling, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact without the operational burden.Position SummaryCMC is expanding services with Mercy LIFE PA and seeking a compassionate Part-Time Optometrist to provide routine eye care across three Philadelphia-area centers. Each location requires approximately 1–2 visits per month, and coverage may be split among multiple providers.This role is ideal for an Optometrist looking to supplement their current schedule while delivering high-quality care to geriatric and underserved populations in well-organized, supportive clinical environments.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive eye exams for geriatric and underserved patientsDiagnose, manage, and treat common ocular conditionsPrescribe corrective lenses and collaborate with on-site clinical staffProvide patient and caregiver education on preventive eye careMaintain a respectful, patient-centered experience in each facilityQualificationsDoctor of Optometry (OD)Active Pennsylvania Optometry LicenseExperience with geriatric populations or mobile care preferredStrong communication skills, professionalism, and empathyComfortable working independently in facility-based settingsSchedule & StructureApproximately 3–4 days per month totalWeekday scheduling with flexibilityTypical hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PMCoverage may be shared among multiple providersMake an ImpactIf you're a patient-focused Optometrist who values flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful work, we'd love to connect.
