This position is responsible for meeting with prospective and existing clients to understand their insurance and retirement needs, presenting suitable insurance products, and explaining coverage options and policy details. Day-to-day tasks include conducting needs assessments, preparing quotes, processing applications, and maintaining accurate client records. The Insurance Agent will follow up on leads, build long-term client relationships, provide ongoing policy service and support, and collaborate with internal team members to ensure a positive client experience. The role also involves staying current on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and product offerings to provide informed guidance. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance to effectively recommend and sell appropriate coverage solutions. Candidates should possess knowledge of Insurance Brokerage and Insurance products to navigate multiple carriers and policy options. Candidates should possess foundational skills in Finance to explain policy features, premiums, and long-term financial impacts. Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to build trust, manage client inquiries, and support policyholders over time. State insurance license (or eligibility to obtain) and prior experience in insurance or financial services are highly beneficial. Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex information in clear, accessible terms. Proven ability to work on-site in a professional office setting, manage time effectively, and meet production and compliance standards.
