Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Based in the Lancaster, CA area, this full-time contract opportunity offers two openings for Mild/Moderate (M/M) credentialed educators eager to support Special Day Classes (SDC). One teacher will foster growth among 4th–6th graders while another will guide 7th–8th grade learners during the upcoming 2026–2027 school year.

Your strengths in this role:
- Valid Special Education Teaching Credential with Mild/Moderate authorization (M/M)
- Experience or enthusiasm for working with elementary or middle school students in special education settings
- Collaborative approach with fellow educators, specialists, and families
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusivity, differentiation, and positive student development

- Prepare and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to support each student’s needs
- Create a nurturing, engaging, and structured classroom environment for your grade level
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate records, using data to guide instruction
- Work closely with general education teachers and related service providers to deliver an integrated educational experience
- Communicate proactively with families and staff to celebrate successes and address challenges
