Job Title: Cook / Cashier
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious meals while also providing excellent customer service at the cash register. This dual role requires a passion for food and a commitment to ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
- Operate cash register, process transactions, and handle cash accurately.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers at the counter.
- Assist in inventory management and stock control.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a cooking or food service role preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
