The BSA Hospitalist Group includes 36 board‑certified/board‑eligible physicians and 8 advanced practice providers managing a daily census of approximately 230–240 patients. About the Role Schedule: 2 PM – 2 AM or 3 PM – 3 AM (12‑hour shift) | 7‑on / 7‑off Primary duties: Provide inpatient care for patients referred by community physicians and the emergency room. ICU: Semi‑open model with 24/7 medical and surgical intensivist coverage. Hospitalists may manage selected ICU patients in coordination. Procedures: Optional – central line and airway skills encouraged but not required; vascular access team handles most lines; RT, ICU, and anesthesia available for airway support. EMR: Epic – Our Hospitalist program provides a balanced workload that allows time for chart review, family communication, and patient‑centered decision making. Physicians feel supported, not rushed.
