Discover Accounting and Finance at AbbVie 2027

AbbVie Accounting & Finance Immersion

The AbbVie Accounting & Finance Immersion is an unpaid, immersive experience for freshman and sophomore undergraduate students interested in future Accounting and Finance internships with AbbVie. Students will join us at AbbVie's Headquarters in Lake County, IL on May 20, 2027 to:

• Experience AbbVie's culture firsthand
• Gain exposure to key accounting and finance business areas through interactive learning experiences
• Build an extended network of AbbVie representatives, leaders, and fellow students
• Participate in professional development and career exploration opportunities

AbbVie will provide travel and lodging for eligible students.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date between December 2028 August 2030.
• Majoring in or a strong interest in exploring opportunities in Finance and/or Accounting
• Demonstrated utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in academic and/or professional settings.
• Demonstrated leadership experience within a school or student organization setting.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Progress towards successfully completing at least three accounting courses (each with 3 credit hours) by the time of graduation, with one of the courses being focused on cost or managerial accounting.
• Dual major or minor in a related field is a plus
• Interest or exposure in utilizing systems and tools to visualize and present data in a meaningful way.
• Interest or exposure in data analysis and ability to perform robust analytics and predictive modeling.
• Currently enrolled in or completion of an accredited Excel or data visualization tool certificate program or course.
• Ability to use analytical skills to innovatively solve problems.
• Proven track record of working collaboratively in teams, being adaptable, innovative, proactive, and maintaining high ethical standards.
• Previous internship or related experience.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
