Registered Nurse, Cardiac Rehab, Part-Time, Baptist Nassau

Job Summary Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse to our Cardiac Rehab Department at our Baptist Medical Center Nassau campus in Fernandina Beach, FL. This is a Part‑Time Opportunity with shifts of 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday. No call or holidays required. Responsibilities Perform a variety of functions to include delivering direct patient care during the PhaseII cardiac classes. Provide education to the patient and significant others. Monitor EKG and document all pertinent information for each session. Have direct communication with various physicians regarding patient care issues and handle emergent patient situations. Also able to perform initial assessment as needed. Experience 1‑2 years telemetry experience. Critical care experience. Fitness / Exercise science experience. Preferred Experience Emergency Department experience. Education Required AS; BS in Nursing. Education Preferred — License and Certification ACLS & PALS. Registered Nurse (RN) – State Nursing Boards.
