Join us at Andersen, and together, lets write the story of your success!/ph3The Role/h3pPrivate Client Services (PCS) Associates support a wide range of sophisticated clients, including some of the wealthiest families in the US, family offices, owner operated business entities, alternative investment fund principals, trusts and estates. Associates receive both formal Private Client Services and on-the-job training through daily interactions with top tax leaders to learn more about legislative changes, wealth transfer techniques, charitable giving strategies, buy/sell agreement planning, and more. In addition to the preparation of tax returns, associates also engage in the tax planning and consultation process for multiple complex clients./ppAssociates will work as part of a team of problem solvers with vast consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve complex business issues./ppAssociate responsibilities include:/pulliResearching tax laws, rules, and regulations and analyzing their application to specific situations resulting in drafting memorandums to defend decisions and/or outlining solutions to those issues;/liliParticipating in select phases of tax compliance engagements;/liliProactively seeking guidance, clarification, and feedback;/liliSupporting select projects demonstrating creative thinking and individual initiative while working as a team member; and/liliDemonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks while exercising professional skepticism./li/ulh3The Requirements/h3ulliBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree and/or an advanced degree in Accounting, Taxation, JD or LLM;/liliA minimum GPA of 3.0;/liliStrong leadership, multitasking and organizational skills;/liliSelf-starter with initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment;/liliStrong interpersonal skills; and/liliAbility to interact with various levels of client and firm management through both written and verbal communication./li/ulpApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire.
