Hi-Lo Driver Shipping and Receiving

As a Hi-Lo Driver in Shipping and Receiving, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of materials throughout the facility. This position is essential to maintaining accurate inventory, supporting production, and upholding a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities

• Safely operate hi-lo equipment to transport materials within the warehouse and production areas
• Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately
• Perform daily equipment inspections and promptly report any maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate inventory records using scanners and the MIS system
• Assist the Quality Department as needed
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of heavy materials and adherence to OSHA standards
• Ensure proper storage and organization of incoming and outgoing materials
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, supporting 5S standards
• Assist with general housekeeping duties
• Remain vigilant for potential safety hazards and report concerns
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Shipping Supervisor

Qualifications

• Experience operating hi-lo or powered industrial trucks
• Basic mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs periodically throughout the shift
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain positive working relationships
• Punctual and reliable attendance
• Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
