• Location: Denver, Colorado
• Start Date: Flexible, ASAC
• Duration: 6 months preferred with option to extend
• Schedule:
  • Approximately 144 hours per month, open to which shifts as long as they can work 144 hours a month (approx 16 shifts)
  • Preferred coverage by one dedicated locum physician (two may be considered)
  • Physician shift options:
    • 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
    • 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
    • 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM
    • 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM
    • 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM
    • Setting:
      • Emergency Department
      • 55,000 annual ED visits
      • Level IV Trauma Center
      • 15-bed ED-managed Observation Unit
      • Chest Pain Center
      • APP support totaling 27 hours dailyCompensation & Benefits

          • Provide comprehensive emergency medicine care in a high-volume Emergency Department
          • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries
          • Manage patients in the ED observation unit as needed
          • Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers, nursing staff, and hospital specialists
          • Support efficient patient throughput and continuity of careRequirements
            • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
            • Active Colorado Medical License
            • Active DEA registration
            • ATLS certification (current or previously obtained)
            • Minimum of 2 years of case logs required
