Lead Credit and Collections Analyst

• Responsible for administering and providing oversight for a wide variety of credit and collection functions.
• Ensures compliance with established guidelines, reviews and monitors credit sources, credit files, customer applications, and delinquent accounts.
• Oversees the process of gathering, compiling, and maintaining basic credit information.
• Maintains records on credit risks, delinquent accounts, and incomplete files.
• Sets up and/or obtains approval to set up new accounts and/or job accounts.
• Responds to all communications and requests for assistance from the branches in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Technical certification or associate degree may be required in some areas.
• Generally 7+ years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Commercial construction industry collection experience in the NY market - REQUIRED.
• Experience with Oracle and getpaid - Preferred.
• Lien and Bond claim experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Experience training, coaching, and developing team members.
• Experience following clearly defined policies and procedures.
• Must be good working with customers (potential for customer facing).

• Under limited supervision, independently resolves issues and applies a variety of methods to develop customized solutions.
• May lead the daily operations of a department or team.
• Work typically involves infrequent review of output by a supervisor or direct customers of the process.
• Assists with supervisory duties but does not have hiring/firing authority.
• Trains, delegates tasks, and reviews the work of junior level associates.

Benefits

• Pay Range: $26.80-$40.70 Hourly.
• New York law requires the posting of the salary range for advertised jobs.
• This range is determined based on market data and internal pay practices to establish a minimum and maximum value for a job.
• Individual base pay is determined based on a variety of elements including experience, skills, internal equity, and other factors.
