About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Chattanooga, Tennessee, 37401!

• Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Manage patients with various respiratory diseases, renal disease, GI illnesses, and telemetry needs
• Perform and oversee procedures including CVC management, indwelling catheters, and heparin drips
• Utilize Meditech for clinical documentation and maintain communication boards to support patient experience standards
• Participate in weekend shift rotation (4 shifts per 28-day schedule) and holiday rotation
• Float to other units in rotation as needed per facility policy

• Active RN license (must be valid for the state of Tennessee or compact eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency with standard unit equipment including IV pumps, SCDs, and walkers
• Strong teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills

• Experience with telemetry monitoring in a Med Surg setting
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records system
• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care environment

• Work alongside a well-supported team including Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretaries, PCTs, and Case Management
• 13-week contract with an expected start date in late September 2026, offering a structured and defined assignment timeline
