Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. Start date: 08/27/2026. Duration: 4 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,904 to $1,960 per week. Shift: 3x12 nights. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment. Work setting: hospital environment. This position requires an RRT credential with the corresponding licensure on file at submission, and will operate in an inpatient hospital with NICU, PICU, Adult ICU, and adult/pediatric general units as needed.

Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory care across inpatient units, including NICU, PICU, Adult ICU, and general pediatric/adult units as assigned.
- Manage mechanical ventilation: assess, configure, monitor, and wean as appropriate; document patient response.
- Provide airway management support, suctioning, and adjunct therapies as ordered.
- Administer aerosolized medications, chest therapy, and other modalities per physician orders.
- Perform arterial blood gas collection and analysis; review results and communicate findings to the care team.
- Document care in the EMR (Epic) and participate in interdisciplinary rounds; collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists; respond to emergent situations as needed.
- Maintain strict adherence to patient safety, infection control, and hospital policies; demonstrate schedule flexibility including weekends and nights.

Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; CRT not accepted
- License on file at time of submission; NBRC verification
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; prior travel experience preferred
- Teaching hospital experience required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts; weekends as needed; flexible schedule
