Careage HomeCare is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Companion Caregiver to join our team in Temple, TX! Responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
• Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or well-being to supervisors
• Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, and community activities
• Engage clients in meaningful conversation, hobbies, and recreational activities
• Maintain accurate care logs and documentation of daily activities
• Ensure a safe and comfortable home environment for all clients

Requirements:

• Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field preferred
• Genuine compassion, patience, and a caring demeanor toward elderly or disabled individuals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
