As the final person to see and touch the product before it is packaged, this role will employ care, quality control, and organizational skills to help carry out the full responsibilities that will continue to make Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. the most valued provider of permanent home cabinets designed for a lifetime of gracious living. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepares cabinets for shipment to customer and insures a professional, high quality, damage free unpackaging presentation. Pulls merchandise ticket (label) to determine proper course of action. Packs cabinets into boxes according to specific cabinet type and size. Properly installed corner pads. Neatly tapes boxes according to cabinet size and type. Ability to stay-on-task, follow safety guidelines and work process procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to move product within 40-50 seconds. The ideal candidate will have an open and socially engaging personality. Basic reading is necessary in the pulling of product-identifying information from the ticket. Requires good hand/eye coordination. Must have above average height for reaching. Education and Experience High School Diploma, GED, or 1yr of equivalent experience. Demonstrated skills in planning, prioritizing and time management. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them on a timely basis. Scope and Impact: Position has recurring work situations that involve having a high attention to detail and service results. It is important that Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. Safety protocols be followed as a guide for operational direction. Failing to follow prescribed guidelines will waste resources and adversely impact performance.
